CVE-2026-41873: Apache Pony Mail OAuth SSRF + Lua CRLF Smuggling = Unauthenticated Account Takeover
CVE-2026-41873: Apache Pony Mail OAuth SSRF + Lua CRLF Smuggling = Unauthenticated Account Takeover
STAR Labs’ advisory on CVE-2026-41873 in Apache Pony Mail by Li Jiantao and Tevel Sho (disclosed 28 April 2026). Two independent bugs reach the same outcome — full admin takeover — without any authentication. In the modern Foal (Python) build, an attacker-supplied "oauth_token" URL drives a blind SSRF against the local Elasticsearch SQL endpoint, leaking the admin session cookie character-by-character (CVSS 9.1). In the legacy Lua build (now retired, no patch), a single unescaped query parameter in "email.lua" lets the attacker inject CRLF bytes into the Elasticsearch HTTP request and smuggle a second request that creates an admin account outright.

More Evidence That Words Don't Mean What We Thought They Meant (Ivanti Sentry Pre-Auth OS Command Injection CVE-2026-10520)
Today, Ivanti published an advisory. “No way?” we hear you say. "Yes way!" a random dog screams back at you, across the street. Today’s rare advisory outlines two vulnerabilities in Ivanti’s Sentry product, appealing directly to our inner desire for sophisticated server-side, pre-authenticated vulnerabilities. With our inner desire only partially satisfied, we found adults who could help us read the advisory. We were kindly told that although Ivanti managed to provide minimal information, the

The Gold Mine Red Teamers Never Touch
The Gold Mine Red Teamers Never Touch
The Problem If you are like me, you have found yourself digging through Microsoft specifications and RFC documentation trying to wrangle with a new exploit or tooling to get DA faster than your peers. The biggest problem one may encounter is the specifications are meant for developers; they will tell you the song and dance in its entirety, but it never goes beyond in any way that may be useful for you to weaponize. Fixing that may potentially lay with using the Windows 2003 Source code.

Adobe Acrobat Reader Escript.api Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution - Exodus Intelligence
Adobe Acrobat Reader Escript.api Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution By Michele Campa Overview In this blog post we take a look at a use-after-free vulnerability found in Adobe Acrobat Reader’s Escript.api module in February 2025. This issue was patched on April 2026 and likely assigned CVE-2026-34621,  CVE-2026-34626 , or CVE-2026-34622. Disclaimer: Every offset and function name referenced in this blog ... Finding CVE-2020-1321: Fuzzing Microsoft Office's 3D Model Parser - Ariel Koren
A grammar-driven .glb fuzzing campaign found a memory-corruption bug in the shared 3D parser used by Microsoft Word and the Microsoft 3D Viewer. The same input crashed both products at matching call-site offsets. Reported to the Microsoft Security Response Center on January 30, 2020. Microsoft published the fix on June 9, 2020 as the Microsoft Office Remote Code Execution Vulnerability, graded Important, CVSS 7.8, exploitation less likely.

Three Bugs Walk Into a PDF: Prototype Pollution, Served Cold
Three Bugs Walk Into a PDF: Prototype Pollution, Served Cold
TL;DR In April 2026, Adobe disclosed three critical security issues (CVE-2026-34621,CVE-2026-34622,CVE-2026-34626) affecting Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC, and Acrobat 2024. According to Adobe’s advisories, these vulnerabilities could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code and leak user information through a malicious PDF file via a prototype pollution chain and they were reportedly exploited in the wild. The initial issue, CVE-2026-34621, was first identified by EXPMON. While several reports have already covered the threat intelligence and malware-analysis aspects of the ITW samples, we were more interested in the underlying vulnerabilities themselves and how Adobe patched them.

Remote Command Execution in Google Cloud with Single Directory Deletion
Remote Command Execution in Google Cloud with Single Directory Deletion
Introduction Hello, I’m RyotaK (@ryotkak ), a security engineer at GMO Flatt Security Inc. A while ago, I participated in the Google Cloud VRP bugSWAT, a live hacking event organized by Google. During this event, I discovered a remote command execution vulnerability in one of Google Cloud’s services. As the vulnerability has now been fixed, I would like to share the technical details in this article. TL;DR Google Cloud has a product called Looker, and this product has a feature to manage Git repositories.

Zero-Click RCE in Figma Desktop: A Race-Conditioned Prototype Pollution Chain That Escapes the Plugin Sandbox
A prototype pollution bug in Figma’s variant counter, chained through a plugin-context race against $INTERNAL_DO_NOT_USE$RERUN_PLUGIN$, a jsx_debugging feature-flag flip, and a forgotten writeFileToPath IPC in the Electron desktop app, to achieve zero-click cross-platform RCE from a published plugin. Reported to Figma and patched within hours.
